The Mousehole
Oh, my goodness! What a swell party THAT was! The food was incredible, the venue was beautiful, the hats were divine! We had a blast and can’t wait until next year to do it all again! We hope you had a fabulous time at the auction and we are so grateful for all your support! We exceeded our fundraising goal, but most importantly, we had an amazing time building community and having a blast with our parents. Thank you everyone!
The staff was spoiled this week with appreciation, lunches, waffle bars, flowers, cards, and notes from our students and families. Thank you so much! We definitely feel appreciated and we so love what we do every day – working with your kids and your families!
Our attention quickly turned to Mothers this week. We sent home our Mother’s day gifts and celebrated mothers and grandmothers at our Butterfly Teas. Our teas are steeped in tradition and we are so thrilled that you all had the opportunity to ‘sip’ a bit of our special event, celebrating our special guests and building our confidence as we work on standing in front of our peers and reciting what we know. Every child is unique and every child is in a different space when it comes to comfort in recitation. We are so proud of all our students as they took huge steps in their comfort levels and everyone took a step forward! Bravo! Brava!
Ladybugs
Well, was that Tea Party almost the cutest thing you ever saw?! We are so glad that you could see how much your little Ladybug has grown from the first day of school, (for some, just a month ago!) to crying about separation, to standing in front of peers to sing a song! We meet the kiddos where they are and would never force anyone to do something that they are uncomfortable with. We are so impressed with how much their comfort level has grown since their first day of ladybug class!
Our attention turned to celebrating mothers and we finished our “all about Mom” pages and wrapped a beautiful gift for you all for Mother’s day. We hope you enjoy it. Our Peekaboo booklet this week was “I’m a Little Teapot” and we had so much fun playing in the beautiful sunshine and working on our friendship skills. This class is awesome!
Crickets
Wasn’t that Tea Party amazing? We love showing off our students’ confidence to their special guests. We turned our attention to Mothers this week as we completed sweet Mothers’ Day gifts and our “All About Mom” papers. We hope you enjoy those and treasure them for years to come.
At circle, we read a few versions of The Three Little Pigs and enjoyed comparing and contrasting the different ways of telling this story. How these Crickets have grown! They are enthusiastic and engaged in our circle discussions.
We hope you all have a wonderful weekend and look forward to hearing all about your Mothers’ Day celebrations when we return to school on Monday.
Honeybees
What a wonderful group of Honeybees! We are so impressed with their recitations at the Butterfly Tea Party. How far they have come!
Our attention turned to Mothers this week as we completed our beautiful gifts and “All About Mom” papers for you. Thank you to Jamie Rose who spearheaded the lovely vases. Jamie also told us that the decoupaged jars can be used as little votive holders also. We hope you enjoy them.
We started working on a special project for our graduation ceremony. The ceremony is full of surprises for the families, so we won’t say too much about what we are working on, but we know you are going to love every moment of the graduation ceremony on June 13th at 10 am, here at The Children’s Garden.
Have a great weekend everyone! We celebrate and appreciate you, Mothers!
Gratitude Corner
A thousand thank yous! or 45,000 thank yous! or even more! Thank you so much for attending our amazing auction and for participating in our main fundraiser of the year! We reached our goal and then some! Knowing all along, that our main goal is to build community and we did that as well. What an amazing event and what a fun party and a great group we have in our community! We love and appreciate you all. Thank you tons!
Moms! Grandmas! We so love and appreciate you! We hope you have the most wonderful Mothers’ Day weekend and know that we are celebrating right alongside you! Hope you are all celebrated and spoiled. We love you, Moms!
Thank you thank you thank you! for the teacher appreciation gifts, lunches, coffee runs, flowers, cards, and treats. You guys have to understand that our biggest treat is working with you all! Thank you so much for everything. We feel very loved and appreciated! XO
