Welcome
Three miles south of historic downtown Issaquah, The Children’s Garden school is situated in a park-like setting of natural woodlands, gardens and hiking trails. We provide your children with a rich curriculum and nurturing atmosphere that celebrates individual uniqueness promotes self-esteem and encourages cooperative, caring social interactions based upon mutual respect.
The Garden provides children with a rich emergent, play-based curriculum. Through this model we explore and integrate communication skills, social skills, reading readiness, language experience, math readiness, science and nature, cultural enrichment, personal safety and the creative arts including visual, music, movement and literacy.

Admissions Process Schedule
Current Year Enrollment
March -December
We continue to enroll for the current school year as space is available.
Next Year Enrollment
January
Priority enrollment is offered to our in-house families comprised of current and alum families.
We offer an Open House for all interested families to meet the staff and explore the campus.
February
Enrollment is opened to all families. If openings remain in our classes, we continue to take applications and offer office led, small group/individual tours for families who were unable to attend our open house.
March
Our classes fill as families move through the admissions process. We continue to offer enrollment and small group/individual tours for families registering a student for an open spot.

Inquiry
If you would like to learn more about our program, class availability, apply for your child’s enrollment, or schedule a Children’s Garden Overview phone call with Brin, our office manager, please submit an Enrollment Inquiry form.
Application to Enroll
This first step in our admissions process is an online form in our student and admissions portal powered by Brightwheel. There is no fee associated with applying to enroll.
Registration
When your Application to Enroll is approved and if space is available in your desired class, completing our online registration form holds your child’s spot in class and moves you toward enrollment. There is a $100 non-refundable fee to register.
Enrollment
Signing our online Enrollment form is the final step to place your child in class at The Children’s Garden. This form is a tuition agreement for the school year and the enrollment fee is 10% of the yearly tuition. Your enrollment fee is applied toward your overall tuition either as a whole or if you are making monthly payments, it will be applied to your June payment. Should you leave the school for any reason, refund of the enrollment fee is based upon our ability to fill your student’s vacated spot.
Tuition Rates and Fees for the 2024-2025 School Year
2024-2025 School Year Tuition
Ladybug Class:
$4300 for the year
$430 monthly installment
Cricket Class:
$5550 for the year
$555 monthly installment
Honeybee:
$6500 for the year
$650 monthly installment
Tuition can be paid in one lump sum or 10 equal installments September-May with your 10% of yearly tuition enrollment fee applied to your June monthly installment.
Fees

Materials Fee
This one time fee is paid prior to the start of the school year in August.
Ladybugs: $200
Crickets: $250
Honeybees: 300
Payments can be made online through Brightwheel or by check to the school.
