We have a portable stage truck, a baby grand piano for live music, and a 30’ hand-cranked crane on the truck to serve as our aerial rigging point and point of interest for other shenanigans! Why?
Many of you know that Mick is a performer and event producer in our region. The UP, UP, UP circus crew are friends from his circus community, and after seeing their show last year in Seattle, Brook & Mick thought it would be fun to create an opportunity for the Children’s Garden community and their friends to see a special performance in Issaquah. This is not a official Children’s Garden event, but its a great excuse to reunite our community!
When?
July 24th at Brook & Mick’s home in the Children’s Garden School gravel parking lot.
Families are invited to bring chairs, blankets, and a picnic to watch the show. We suggest arriving between 5pm and 5:15pm to set up, let the kids play on the playground, and relax before the show.

Parking
Parking will be in the lower field of the Children’s Garden School and will be limited to first come, first served. PLEASE, CARPOOL IF POSSIBLE. What will the show be like?
UP, UP, UP is a collection of performers from Bellingham, Seattle, and far away. They include aerialists, musicians, acrobats, clowns, and illusionists. This one-hour show will be whimsical, beautiful, hilarious, and accessible for those of all ages. It’ll leave your jaw dropped with amazement and belly aching from laughter.
How do I get tickets?
The show will be donation-based! We’ll pass a hat around at the end of the show. The suggested donation is $20 per person, but please feel free to give more or less based on your situation. Their goal is to bring the joy of the circus to anyone and everyone who may need it, regardless of money.
