Events, opportunities and resources for our Garden community.
The children have been reading and acting out versions of the story Stone Soup. Your child came home with a Stone Soup Kit after the Harvest Celebration.
You can watch Teacher Thea read the Stone Soup and enjoy acting it out as you make your own Stone Soup at home!
Children’s Garden Harvest Blessing
Earth that gives
us all our food,
Sun that makes it
ripe and good;
Dearest Earth and
We won’t forget
what you have done
We are so grateful for our Garden Community! We wish you a Thanksgiving break full of love and laughter. We look forward to seeing you at school next week after break.
It takes a village to raise a child. We are so thankful to our families for including The Children’s Garden in your village. The gift of having your family and child at The Garden is precious to us.
At this time of giving, we like to share the love we receive through our tradition of sending the gift of a staff made, decorative hanging keepsake, personalized with your child’s photo, to people in your village.
Traditionally, parents have chosen to give this gift to grandparents or other special members of their given or chosen extended family.
Please let us know who we can include in appreciating your village by clicking the Village Keepsake button.
Keepsake requests due Friday, December 3.
