The Mousehole
Wow! What a great Egg Hunt! We counted over 150 people in attendance and enjoyed seeing so many familiar faces and new faces last Saturday. Weren’t the kids’ carrots, eggs, and bunnies adorable? We hope you all treasure those beautiful spring decorations and bring them out every year to celebrate the season! Thank you so much to everyone for helping us help the bunny in hiding eggs and setting up the hunting grounds.
We want to wish everyone a wonderful Holi to those who celebrate this colorful festival of the triumph of good over evil, and the welcome of the colors of spring, and Happy Easter to those that celebrate this holiday as another welcome of new life and a wonderful spring.
On Monday, the staff hit the ground running, turning our focus to the Art Show! It is coming so quickly! Thank you to our parent volunteers who have helped us mat and sort our beautiful collection of art from each of our students throughout the school year. We are excited to share with you, our years’ worth of amazing art projects, experiments, and collections. Our students have been taking turns to work with Brin in the office, one on one, to write their ‘biography’ that we can display next to our students’ works of art as an “about the artist” feature.
Ladybugs
How fun to hear the news of the Bugs about their experience at the Egg Hunt. We celebrated Hudson’s third trip around the sun on Tuesday, and we completed two beautiful art projects as well as worked on Baa Baa Black Sheep books. We read some sweet books about Spring and bunnies and we continue to marvel at how these littlest littles are moving away from parallel play and acting more like Crickets every day!
Crickets
The Crickets had a great time in class this week, telling us all about the amazing eggs that they found at the Egg Hunt, and making delightful stamper books about Spring. We finished up the rest of our Art Show projects and took turns going into Brin’s office to tell her their autobiographies.
Honeybees
World Culture Reports continue with our almost Kindergarteners. We travelled to Scotland with Jack, Ireland with Cooper, France with James, Philippines with Adrian and India with Eddy. On Wednesday and Thursday, we went to Costa Rica with Harper and Iceland with Olivia, England with Scout and Hawaii with Dylan. We are excited for our World’s Fair on Monday in the Movement Room, where all of the Bees will stand by their Presentation Boards and share with you some of the favorite things that they learned about their country/culture. We’ll hold our Word’s Fair at 3pm, Monday April 1. We hope you can all make it!
We trekked up to Luna’s Forest on Monday and had fun taking down the surveyor tape and beautiful flag banners that decorated the Egg Hunt areas, while running around and playing tag and exploring the signs of spring. We enjoyed a picnic snack on the playground on Tuesday, and we celebrated Dylan’s 5 ½ year birthday on Wednesday.
Next week, on Tuesday, we have our Honeybee Parent teacher Conferences. There is no school for students on Tuesday and watch your email for the zoom links for your conference with Brook, Cara, Donna or Emily. We look forward to sharing with you how wonderful your Honeybee is doing at The Garden. These kiddos are amazing us every day with their brave and confident presentations, their social emotional skills and how they are all learning how to advocate for themselves and their classmates.
Have a great weekend everyone! Enjoy the beautiful weather for this last weekend of March!

Gratitude Corner
With just one week left to procure and come up with items to auction off at our major fundraiser, we appreciate all of you who have found a fun item to put up for auction at our event. We also thank all of our parents and volunteers who are working hard behind the scenes to create amazing auction items and also create the magic behind the auction that makes our event so fun to look forward to. How fun to see our parents in their prom pics, and how fun to imagine our outfits as we plan our prom auction coming up in May.
